This is what I use in my guitars, and frankly almost everyone I know tells me that my guitar sounds ridiculously like old Hendrix, Trower, and SRV stuff.  I make no claims to this seeing that I have only the DEEPEST RESPECT for the previously mentioned guitar heroes of mine; they continue to inspire me to play to this day, but naturally I am grateful for the compliments.

“Reverse Winding” and “Reverse Polarizing” (RW&RP) the middle pickup helps mitigate hum in switch positions 2 & 4. Single coil guitars are plagued with this hum, especially when playing under fluorescent lighting (or stage lights) and or in “bad” electrical-wiring conditions.
